Join the Impact National LGBT Food Drive for Equality - Nationwide, ongoing thru Saturday 12/20
In the spirit of this holiday season, JoinTheImpact invites you to join us for the season of giving and come together under the banner of that which unites us all: Love. Let us go above and beyond. Let us set aside our own struggles, our own needs, to demonstrate to the nation and the world the collective power of the LGBTQ community. Beginning on November 28th, 2008 and going until we Light Up the Night for Equal Rights on December 20th, JoinTheImpact is launching the first national LGBTQ Food Drive for Equality! Through this event, we will work to reach out not only to those who have worked alongside us, but to organizations and individuals that fear us and oppose our cause. So on Saturday, Dec. 20th, each city will be organizing a massive charitable effort to demonstrate the positive impact the LGBT community can make.
The effort has already begun in Cleveland, OH, so look to JoinTheImpact. com for a step by step model to maximize the impact in your city or region. Join us for this important event, and on Saturday 12/20, we will demonstrate the powerful impact the LGBT movement can have in the lives of ordinary Americans.

Day Without a Gay - Statewide, Nationwide - Wednesday 12/10
We've reacted to anti-gay ballot initiatives in California, Arizona Florida, and Arkansas with anger, with resolve, and with courage. NOW, it's time to show America and the world how we love. Gay people and our allies are compassionate, sensitive, caring, mobilized, and programmed for success. A day without gays would be tragic because it would be a day without love. On December 10, 2008 the gay community will take a historic stance against hatred by donating love to a variety of different causes. You are encouraged not to call in sick to work.
You are encouraged to call in "gay"--and donate your time to service! visit http://www.daywithoutagay.org/
